Job Description:

BCubed Engineering is seeking a talented JIRA/Confluence Administrator to drive transformation in the federal IT domain by increasing organization, insights, and efficiencies through process management of our customer’s autonomous systems’ product life-cycle. The primary responsibility of this role is to enhance the Cross Functional Team’s (CFT) performance by leveraging automated tools to organize, inform, and support execution for successful delivery of value. This includes supporting planning increments and releases that align with stakeholders and organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of Agile expertise, Atlassian suite knowledge, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering mission-critical value.

Responsibilities:

• Support the CFT in preparation and performance of Program Increments (PI) by orchestrating the requirements process and performing knowledge management functions.
• Create custom projects in Atlassian tool suite for complex workflows to meet business needs.
• Provide advanced configuration of the Atlassian suite of tools to promote CI/CD.
• Create and maintain Jira and Confluence collaboration sites (e.g., Kanban boards, Scrum of scrum boards, documentation pages, etc.).
• Analyze, research, manage, and implement integrated Atlassian tools, plugins, and applications.
• Maintain, streamline and automate Jira workflows.
• Interface with various diverse stakeholders as a liaison and trusted advisor.
• Coach and mentor the effective use of the Atlassian tools.
• Document the workflows and processes implemented in Jira.
• Create Jira queries and reports as required.
• Help define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced.
• Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve the ART’s efficiency to increase.

Qualifications:

• 7 years’ experience in systems analysis and design of information systems programs
• 3 years’ experience with Jira and Confluence administration.
• An advanced degree in an appropriate field.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and applied best practices.
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite, specifically as a JIRA/Confluence Power User.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Active SECRET security clearance (required).

Highly Desired:

• Atlassian certified Jira Administrator.
• Experience supporting multi-vendor integration efforts within the DoD.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing or consulting role.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
