Job Description:

BCubed Engineering Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to manage a high-speed 100Gb on-premises ground architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining low latency, high throughput real-time networks that handle continuous streaming of digital IF (DIFI) data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain a robust network infrastructure capable of handling high-speed data transfer and streaming.
  • Ensure network reliability and performance for critical satellite communication systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate virtual and digital modems into the network architecture.
  • Develop and implement strategies for network optimization to support satellite ground stations and ground networks.
  • Conduct regular network assessments to identify and resolve any issues proactively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for network-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, specifically with low latency and high throughput networks.
  • Proven track record of managing 100Gb or higher network infrastructures.
  • Expertise in digital IF (DIFI) data movement and processing.
  • Experience with virtual modems, digital modems, satellite ground stations, and ground networks.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Must have a U.S. Security Clearance (required).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) is preferred.
