Job Description:

BCubed Engineering is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to facilitate a Cross Functional Team (CFT) in the development and fielding of systems capable of autonomous decision making. The primary responsibility of this role is to promote the adoption of, collaborate with key stakeholders, and facilitate agile methodologies to align efforts across multiple vendors and government teams. This includes supporting project requirements documentation/prioritization processes, supporting planning increments, orchestrating a scrum-of-scrums, and vectoring product releases that align with stakeholders and organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of Agile expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering mission-critical value.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate SAFe adoption for CFT fitting the organization’s unique needs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, improve flows, manage risks and dependencies.
• Coach SAFe Scrum and SAFe Team Kanban supporting Lean-Agile Mindset.
• Foster a high-performance environment of continuous flow and relentless improvement. 
• Identify and improve CFT’s efficiency by eliminating bottlenecks, delays, and waste to increase value delivery to the end-user every iteration.
• Encourage feedback and openness, promoting transparency, identifying gaps between expectations and outcomes, and pointing out recurring mistakes.
• Foster relationships that enhance collaboration and performance.
• Support Program Increment (PI) and Iteration execution, achieving iteration goals and PI objectives.
• Develop and maintain metrics.
• Bridge communication gaps by effectively communicating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience as an Agile Coach, Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or similar role.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Active SECRET security clearance (required).

Highly Desired:

• Strong understanding of DoD processes and military operations.
• Experience leading multi-vendor integration efforts within the DoD.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing or consulting role.
• Experience as a Systems or Software Engineer.
• SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (US citizenship required).
