Job Description:

BCubed Engineering Corporation is currently hiring highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineers in Tampa, FL. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our products through the systems engineering life cycle, to include designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support our customer missions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components to achieve optimal system performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for building robust systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.
• Align with the System Architect to ensure all deployment activities are in accordance with the overall system design and architecture.
• Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 6+ years experience working as a Systems Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture
• Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, software applications, and cloud technologies
• Experience with systems integration to include architecture support as well as defining internal and external interface definitions (ex: Application Programming Interfaces and Interface Control Documentation)
• Experience with verification test and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Active SECRET security clearance (required).

Highly Desired:

• Solid understanding in network design and cloud technologies
• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role
• Experience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure
